LED Lighting is the newest technology in the lighting industry, allowing you to
design and create in ways that were never possible before!
What's the difference between conventional fixtures and LED's?
| Low Power Consumption |
|
| |
LED's use a significantly reduced amount of electricity compared to
conventional fixtures. A show using traditional fixtures may draw
400amps 3phase, but with LED technology it's possible to use only 100A
single phase. The reduction in electricity use makes it easier when you
don't have very much electricity available, and allows you to help the
environment and go green. |
| |
|
| Reduced Heat Radiation |
|
| |
LED fixtures radiate minimal amounts of heat, allowing you to use them
in areas that would not be suitable for traditional fixtures, some fixtures even
radiate no heat. This reduces, and in some cases eliminates fire hazards and
eliminates the risk of technicians getting burned while adjusting/operating the
fixture.
|
| |
|
| Colour Mixing |
|
|
LED fixtures are designed to allow for RGB (Red-Green-Blue) colour
mixing, allowing you to combine any of those three colours to make any colour
you can imagine. This increases your design possibilities and allows for more
creativity. |
